Surprising as it may seem, the AMR9 - known for being the fastest killing Submachine Gun (SMG) up close, also holds the title for the fastest killing weapon at long range. Its effectiveness isn't limited to close combat, it provides a serious edge in the vast expanses of Warzone's Season 2 as well.
The AMR9, a fully automatic submachine gun chambered in 9mm, is not just your run-of-the-mill SMG. Its low recoil and swift Time to Kill (TTK) make it a superb choice for medium to long range confrontations. If you often find yourself running low on ammo in the heat of battle, you can opt for the 100 round drum attachment for that added security.
Despite its many advantages, the AMR9 has its trade-offs. With a bullet velocity just under 700m/s, hitting those distant targets will require a bit more precision. You'll need to anticipate enemy movement and lead your shots slightly more. This minor drawback is hardly noticeable in Resurgence mode as most gun fights happen at closer quarters. Another point to consider is the shared SMG ammunition. If you run another SMG as your secondary, you'll have to juggle the ammo utilization. An effective workaround could be to carry extra ammo, or opt for a close-ranged non-SMG secondary like the Haymaker shotgun, Close Range BP50, or the Close Range MCW.
Don't underestimate the AMR9! Although it's an SMG, it's a competitive choice for long range confrontations in Warzone. It's not only an efficient loadout but also adds an element of fun in the game. The versatility it offers is what makes it one of the best weapons in Warzone.
