Eager to prove yourself as the ultimate Battle Royale champion or set your sights on a World Series of Warzone title? Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is now offering Ranked Play for those who dare to rise to the challenge!

We're thrilled to announce that Ranked Play will make its debut during the shortened Beta season of Season 03 Reloaded. The data collected during this period will be invaluable for refining Ranked Play in upcoming seasons.

The Fundamentals

Ranked Play is the official competitive scene for Warzone 2.0 Battle Royale. To participate, players must reach at least Level 45.

The aim with Ranked Play in Warzone 2.0 Season 03 Reloaded is to create a fair and balanced environment for competitive play while maintaining a consistent experience across all Battle Royale modes.

To accomplish this, Ranked Play will initially impose certain gameplay restrictions to gather essential feedback and data for the full launch of Ranked Play in Season 04 and beyond.

Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect in the Ranked Play (BETA) until the complete Warzone 2.0 Patch Notes are released next week:

Additionally, Ranked Play in Warzone 2.0 employs a ranking system similar to that in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer.

There are seven standard Skill Divisions, with all players starting at Bronze I in Season 03 Reloaded. Since this is a mid-season launch, the first Ranked Play season will be shorter than subsequent seasons.

Players will gain Skill Rating (SR) based on their match performance, specifically:

  • Placement (e.g., 1st, 2nd, 20th)
  • Kills
  • Assists
  • Squad Kills

At the start of each match, a Deployment Fee is deducted from each player's SR total. The higher the player's Skill Division and Tier, the higher the Deployment Fee.

At the end of each season, players will be reset to the lowest Tier in the Division below their current standing. For instance, a Gold III player at the end of Season 03 Reloaded will begin Season 04 at Silver I, while a Diamond II player will revert to Platinum I.

However, the highest Division in which players can start a new season is Diamond I. Players in Crimson, Iridescent, or Top 250 will be reset to Diamond I at the beginning of a new season.

Additional Features

Ranked Play in Warzone 2.0 will include all new or updated features introduced in Multiplayer Ranked Play — SR Forgiveness, Demotion Protection, Squad Backout and Match Cancelling, and Suspensions. Updates will be provided when new features are introduced for both Ranked Play modes.

Keep in mind that RICOCHET Anti-Cheat will strictly enforce its policy against cheating, especially in Ranked Play.

Rewarding the Victorious and the Dedicated

Now for the exciting part: the prizes for divisional placements, ranking up, and completing seasonal placement and kill challenges.

These rewards are unique to and separate from Modern Warfare II Ranked Play, giving you a reason to compete in both and collect all the exclusive rewards available.

First, the Rank system, which is separate from Division: Players can progress their Rank by earning Stars, with up to three Stars available per match.

Top 10+ 2 Stars

Rank Rewards include a Vehicle Skin (Rank 5), a Ranked Play Win Tracker Gunscreen (Rank 30), and a Ranked Veteran Operator Skin (Rank 50).

Besides Rank Rewards, players can earn unique rewards each season by completing two separate challenges: Placement and Eliminations.

Placement rewards feature a Pro Issue Weapon Blueprint, based on a popular weapon choice among the community during Season 03, as well as a Weapon Charm. Elimination rewards consist of a stunning Camo that can be applied to any weapon.

Lastly, since Season 03 Reloaded is shortened, players are encourage to use this season to secure their division placement for Season 04. End of Season Divisional rewards will be available starting in Season 04. However, if you finish at least in Crimson during Season 03 Reloaded, you will start at Diamond I for the next season.

Expect emblems, charms, and more rewards — particularly for reaching the Top 250 and No. 1 in the World — for your efforts starting next season.
