Patch 16.2.1
Control vision and fish for picks. Use to force enemies into narrow paths, land on a priority target, and use to delete them before the fight starts.
Long-range artillery mage and enchanter hybrid. You win by poking enemies out of lane, fishing for picks with long-range CC, and protecting your team with massive multi-target shields.
Adds a mark to enemies hit by spells. Your next auto-attack procs it for bonus damage. In the early lane, this is your primary trading tool. If you don't auto-attack to proc , your damage is halved.
A linear skillshot that roots the first two targets hit. The second target takes the same damage and root duration. Use this through a low-health minion to surprise an enemy who thinks they are safe.
Throws a wand that shields allies it touches, then returns to shield them again. The shield on the way back is stronger. Always try to move so the returning wand hits as many teammates as possible.
An AOE slow zone that you can detonate for damage. The slow is significant—don't pop it immediately if you're trying to kite someone. Let the slow do the work first.
A long-range beam that deals heavy damage and procs/refreshes . Use this to finish kills, snipe objectives, or clear a wave from across the map to save a tower.
Stay as far back as possible while still being able to hit on your frontline. Use to zone the enemy and save for anyone trying to dive your ADC.
If you are ahead, you can play more like an assassin, sitting in a sweeped brush to catch a rotating carry with a full combo.
The standard pick combo. Root them with , place for the slow, fire while they're stuck, then pop as they try to walk out.
Use the slow from to walk into auto range. Proc with the first auto, pop the bubble, and proc it again with the second auto.
When dove, shield yourself immediately. Point-blank is hard to miss. Leave on the ground to slow the enemy while you walk away.
Use to scout a brush or over a wall. If you see a low-HP target, immediately fire before they can react to the vision.
| Spike | Why |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | combined with procs makes you one of the strongest level 1 pokers in the bot lane. |
| Level 2 | Unlocking gives you kill pressure. A single bind on a squishy support can lead to a Flash or First Blood. |
| Level 6 | adds massive burst damage and global pressure, allowing you to assist your jungler from afar. |
| Level 11 | With 2 points in and some Haste, the cooldown is low enough to use for fishing and waveclear frequently. |
